What this is, and what it is not
    • All signs are authored from standard descriptions of ASL citation signs: 32 come from the three.ws engine, the rest are Hum Kalaam's everyday additions in the same notation. None have been reviewed by Deaf signers yet.
    • This is ASL vocabulary in English word order (signed English). It is not ASL grammar, and it is not Pakistani Sign Language.
    • Words without a sign are fingerspelled, never replaced by a similar sign. Text in other scripts, such as Urdu, is reported as not supported.
    • Use it alongside text, not instead of a human interpreter.

How to sign for the camera
      • Keep both shoulders and your hands in view, in good light. Lower your hands between sentences.
      • Signs: pause briefly (about half a second) after each sign. If it is not sure, it does not guess: you get the closest matches to pick from.
      • Fingerspelling: hold each letter still at shoulder height for about half a second. J and Z are not recognised.
      • It was tuned on the avatar's own signing with simulated camera noise, not on real signers, so expect mistakes until it is tested with real people.
      • Video stays on this device: tracking runs in the browser.
